Personal data that we may collect about you
We may collect and process personal data our business partners provide to us in connection with our provision of the TransferLab tool.
The TransferLab tool is an advanced online data-scouting platform aimed at enhancing the player recruitment process for professional football organisations. Our business partners have the ability to see rankings and projected future performance for of all players that appear in the tool. The rankings and projected future performance levels are calculated based on a particular “Player Profile” (a grouping of skills, which our clients can define in whichever way they choose). The tool can also be used by our clients to manage scouting operations by, for instance, uploading scouting reports and keeping records of observations made about players’ performances.
The information that our business partners may give us may include your name, qualitative and quantitative assessments of your performance in a particular match,and positional information necessary for us to provide the TransferLab tool.
Why do we collect information?
We process personal data for certain legitimate business purposes, which include some or all of the following:
- To provide TransferLab to our clients.
- For any other purpose required or permitted by law.
We process your personal data for these purposes because it is in both your and our client’s interest to do so, and it enhances the services that we provide. The TransferLab tool helps our clients in assessing your on-pitch performance, acting as a compliment to video and live scouting. The tool therefore showcases your skillset to both potential future employers and your current club. We do not process your personal data where to do so would prejudice your fundamental rights and freedoms
